Description

I tried to register in the forum to post this there but I cannot get through the sorting questions. I looked at the About in Deluge and the wiki and still cannot figure out the right items or order to put in there to get it to register me so I am entering this here.

I am running Windows XP SP3 (yes I know I need to upgrade), Deluge 1.3.7, libtorrent 0.16.16.0.

My torrent files are on a separate drive from the C drive. My C drive was running low on space so I let it run the disk cleanup program and then I deleted 70gb of files. Then I ran Smart Defrag once just to defragment and then I ran the Windows defragmenter since it seems like there was a lot which was left fragmented. Now comes the stupid part which may or may not have been a factor. While it was defragmenting the second time, I ran Deluge since the files are on a different drive. I noticed that when I started it it wanted to check all the files. I just left it there and didnt look at it again for maybe 6 hours or so.

When I came back the ratio and the amount uploaded/downloaded had been reset so the numbers were off. I did a force recheck several times but that didnt change anything. So for example I had downloaded 30 gigabytes but the Downloaded column still said for example 2 gb. And the ratio was way down as if started over again. Not sure what's going on or how to fix it if it is possible at this point. Thanks.

If it needed to recheck all torrents then clearly there was a problem with the state/fastresume file so by extension you have lost the stats too.

It has been discussed before and we have taken steps to prevent it happening in develop code.
