This looks more like a gtk bug. Have os updates fixed it?

Seems it's the breeze theme for me, the default GTK+ theme shipped with kubuntu 18.04 (possibly earlier too).

I can't tell if it's a breeze issue or deluge issue though, as other GTK2+ apps don't show similar behaviour - does deluge use the progress bar widgets differently or overrides the theme at all?

Breeze dark is legible mostly, but it isn't an option when using Breeze light for all the Qt apps.
