false seeder/peer stats on private tracker torrent

Description

On the torrents of my favorite tracker there are the stats of the online Seeders/Peers not correct, sometimes not even there, sometimes all seeders shown as peers/leechers.

The tracker sends this information to Deluge, so perhaps the tracker is sending out the wrong info?

Also, how do you know if what is displayed in Deluge is wrong?
