the crash typically appears with either lots of torrents or heavy torrents. i can't remember deluge crashing with just one smaller torrent going.

I am getting this error with 0.5.9.0 and WinXP SP3. This is a fresh install of XP as of yesterday morning, Been running Deluge nearly the whole time since reinstalling XP. I have had this exact error nearly 20 times. The log files do not contain any information, is there a runtime debugging switch that can be used?

Last comment was mine, Deluge just crashed again. Error says, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way." Not sure if that helps but its a little more info then was posted before.
Note: I was not interacting with Deluge when it crashed, it was working in the background and crashed without being provoked.

Am having the exact same problem. Was running 0.5.9.0 (which was running smoothly) until a few days ago when my HD crashed. Reinstalled XP with the new SP3, and updated to 0.5.9.1. Problem seem to have started when i installed .NET 2.0. Have since uninstalled and reinstalled various combinations of Deluge, .NET 2.0 and .NET 1.1 with the same problem. Uninstalling any flavor of .NET still results in runtime error.
Currently have MS Visual C++ 2005 (ver. 8.0.56336) installed on my pc. I also have deluge, .net1.1 and .net2.0 installed as various comments on other forums seem to suggest that this combo will work.
Also, like the above poster, deluge was running in the background and it crashed without being provoked.

OK. Finally remembered what i did to fix the runtime time error last time, which was to: install IPv6.
Since this seems to be a recurring problem with various deluge releases, why not include IPv6 installation as part of the default deluge install process?
