Deluge rechecks bunch of torrents after reboot

Description

Some time ago (may be when deluge 1.3 was released but I'm not sure) I noticed this bug: I shutdown PC with running deluge daemon and at the next boot when I start deluge GtkUI (daemon is launched automatically via Gnome autorun) I see that a bunch of torrents (about 90 of 120) are marked as paused and then are being rechecked. When I select Resume, all of them are added to recheck queue.

I'm using deluge 1.3.2 with libtorrent 0.15.6.0 @ ubuntu 10.04.

Sounds like you are not letting deluged shutdown cleanly. Try manually pkill deluged before shutting down to see if that makes a difference, if this is the case you may want to use init scripts to control startup and shutdown.

This has been reported before but can't find the ticket just now.

After manually pkilling and starting daemon jobs are ok. So I'll try to use init script. This script doesn't work for me, I'll try to modify it...

The init scripts works for many Ubuntu users but if you find the issue you can update the wiki with the changes.

The shutdown issue I can only guess that deluged was busy on receiving the signal as tested ok here.

I will close this ticket as duplicate, covered by: #1294 & #1601
