#2672 new feature-request

Open file on double click over filename

Reported by: greatpower Owned by:
Priority: minor Milestone: 2.x
Component: GTK UI Version: other (please specify)

Description (last modified by Cas)

In the FILES tab, double-clicking on any cell in any column other than filename will open the file.

When you single-click on the filename cell, it puts the filename in edit mode. This prevents a double-click from occurring.

It would be great if double-clicking on the filename opened the file rather than putting the file in rename mode.

Nope, i haven't seen that ticket before, but double clicking sentence describes what i am looking for. I've tried searching for similar ticket, but keyword i used did not match any results. Single click only select the file (expected behavior. win 8).

  • Component changed from other/unknown to GTK-UI
  • Description modified (diff)
  • Milestone changed from Future to 2.0.x
  • Summary changed from open file on double click to Open file on double click over filename

That was a fairly recent post so I don't think a ticket was created.
