 I'm right there with you.  I've searched confirmation of registration and the only that comes up is THIS post.  This is awful.  Its like a riddle that makes perfect sense once you know how it works, but for those who aren't in on the joke its just giberish.
 The link you provide says we have to check out the Deluge About page.  Great.

+There's only ONE question on the entire registration page--What is the main operating system or distribution you are running Deluge on?
+I get wanting to keep out Spam, but this is absolutely awful.  All to try to get help with a program that suddenly stopped working in the first place.
+The "spam protection" question is: What answer to the above question is named after a person?"
