#426 closed bug (Fixed)

Priority set on wrong file

Reported by: chebatron@… Owned by: andar
Priority: critical Milestone:
Component: GTK UI Version: 0.9.09 (1.0.0_RC9)

Description

I have a torrent with 1000 files in it. I need only one of them. So I start the torrent with all files priority set to Do Not Download and then set priority of one file to Normal. When the torrent is done I found that wrong file was downloaded. I tried with other torrents and the behavior is persistent.

Gentoo Linux Python 2.5.2 Boost 1.35.0 pyxdg 0.15 setuptools 0.6_rc8 pygtk 2.12.1 dbus-python 0.82.4 librsvg 2.22.2 GTK 2.12.11

Perhaps deluge is downloading other files because it needs pieces from those files?

Well, no. I've found that it actually downloads correct file but gives it wrong name. The name of another file from the same torrent.

  • Version changed from 0.9.05 (1.0.0_RC5) to 0.9.09 (1.0.0_RC9)

I had twice the same problem but first time there where no file at all, and second time the file was corrupted. Furthermore, deluge is unable to resume the download after a restart. This occurs with version 0.9.09. Maybe the last release corrects the problem, I didn't check.
