#540 closed bug (Fixed)

Deluge don't start on international language versions of Windows

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: markybob

Component: Packaging Version: 1.0.2

Description

Deluge 1.0.2 don't start on other language installations of Windows xp (Spanish in my computer).

When I click to shortcut generated by installer, it pop up a console, but Deluge don't successfully start, console disappears and Deluge don't launch.

I can run Deluge patching some files in program directory and doing others tweaks. I'm going to explain here accurately:

  • I moved Deluge folder created by installer in C:\Archivos de programa\ (program files in spanish) to C:\Program Files\
  • I added a Environment variable, named, for example, DELUGE pointing to C:\Program Files\.
  • I replace %PROGRAMFILES% by %DELUGE% in C:\Program Files\Deluge\deluge.cmd

I am Spanish and I've also missed the final version less because I do not started. Anonymous thank you very much for helping to make it work even in English. If you manage to be solved in the next versions for which I work in Spanish. Thank you very much for developing the world's best BitTorrent? client. Sorry for my English
