.torrent file deletion

Description
i've noticed that when i try to remove a torrent and delete the .torrent file the .torrent file is really deleted only when it's located in my home dir, in other directories (ex. /home/user/torrent) it doesn't work
i'm using deluge on Ubuntu 8.10 x86

deluge doesnt delete the original torrent...just the copy it makes and places in ~/.config/deluge during download.
this is not true! if i add a torrent file, placed in my home dir, and then in deluge i remove and delete, the original torrent file will be wiped out!
