Minimize to tray on minimize

Description

I like having a tray icon instead of a taskbar entry. However, currently to minimize to tray you must click the close button. I would like an option so that the minimize button would minimize to tray, and the close button would exit the application as normal. Thanks for your consideration.

Is it possible to add this to the windows client as well as the GTK client? Is this feature even happening? This ticket was last updated two years ago. I'd really like to have the ability to both minimize to tray AND close the program.

I have a problem The window_state_event isn't called when i minimize the window. It works fine for maximize. Any help ?
