Put this in /etc/default/deluge-daemon and replace <username> with your username

Make the script executable by root
sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/deluge-daemon
Run this script on start up
sudo update-rc.d deluge-daemon defaults
Start the daemon
sudo /etc/init.d/deluge-daemon start
